Welcome 2010 (the first of two posts)

neadodsThey say to begin the year as you mean to go on. I saw 2009 out finishing a book in bed. In the middle of the night, a kitten climbed on me, lay down, and started purring madly. This morning, before I even got out of bed, I cast on and knit 3 rows of an afghan square.
In slightly less than an hour, we're going to be heading down to get the last licks out of Christmas by going to Mt. Vernon to see the holiday events, including a camel, a rarely-toured floor, and a "chocolate toast" at 2.
Tonight: the cause of the second post, End of Time Part II.
Tomorrow: chores, cooking, and the Sherlock Holmes movie everyone is raving about. As a teaser, I'm thinking of listening to Big Finish's brand new Sherlock Holmes on the way to Mt. Vernon.
Travel, TV, knitting, books, audio, gettin' stuff done. It's how I mean to go on; let's see if that's how it turns out by this time next year.
