*shakes crystal ball* Oh, LJ, Fount of All Knowledge: recommend unto me exercise DVDs or routines. (Nothing that will bugger a bad knee any worse than it is, please.) I need to get beyond "ho, hum, treadmill."

Since you've already got the treadmill, you may want to look at the iTread downloads at iTrain.com. I haven't been using it much recently, but I really really liked them when I did--each workout is designed so you can take them at your own level, and they've got pretty good music. I'd be happy to send you one of the ones I own if you want to test it out.

I am totally sold!

Mind you - my treadmill doesn't have incline that can be adjusted on the fly, and the mph display is burned out. BUT still I'm incredibly enthused because what I did was flip between Leslie Sandstone walk-and-jog exercises as iTrain shifted from section to section. I'm certainly breathless and sweating now.

Bonus: because I wasn't on the treadmill and much of the action (except for some intervals) was going on in place, I could make sandwiches while working out. I think I've just "found time" to exercise on busy days!

Hooray!

I have one final run left for Couch to 5K, and then I really ought to start using those again myself, as I am definitely not going to be running outside again while this weather persists...
