It must be something in the air. Steve & I are just up the road from you in Laurel at the local gaming con & not 5 minutes ago we were discussing the necessity/feasibility of taking in the sweet little stray who apparently subsists (not very well) on scraps from the Outback steak house attached to the hotel. It would be a much easier decision if we hadn't just last month taken in the adult littermate (Kimba, see pic) of 1 of our other cats, so our felines are already in stressed-out-adjusting-to-the-stranger mode.

I've been told that after you get to a certain number they pretty much give up-- "You seen that one before?" "Nope-- they snuck another one in on us."

There's always room for one more, especially a little and needy one....

(We're waiting to hear from my boss about a older man going into care whose four cats will need new homes, so can't commit, alas....)
