I am so proud of fandom

Yesterday,
gem_pinkeh set up a fundraising page to send money to Cancer Research UK in Lis Sladen's name.
The first goal was 150 quid. It was hit in two hours.
The second goal was 500 pounds. It was hit by the end of the day.
Today the goal was reset at 2000 pounds.
The amount when I went to check for this post? 2925 and climbing
I couldn't be prouder of fandom.

I wonder - with the rate this is climbing, if we can get the news out enough, can fandom break 10,000?
