Two comments on Who.

neadods1) I laughed like a loon when Rory said "America salutes you" ... and then (by American standards) did it wrong. Okay, *Blam!*Blam!* "Welcome to America" too.
2) Is the Silence an event or a people? If they're forgotten instantly, how did all those races last year keep wittering on about "The Silence is coming" - they wouldn't know either! And just how scary is a villain who goes from "we have lived in the dark forever" to "their ass is grass and humanity's fire" in two hours?
I think Matt's "angst" acting is getting better, but it's not changing my unhappiness.
