Is there somewhere online I can get a potted history of feminism in Britain in the 20th Century? I know some of the American milestones, but I need to know the general Big Events for over the pond.

First female MP elected 1918 Constance Markiewicz but as a Sinn Fein member she refused to take the oath of allegiance so never actually sat. The first woman MP to take her seat was Lady Astor, in 1919. First female cabinet minister Margaret Bondfield, 1924.

Sex Disqualification Removal of Disabilities Act 1919 allowed women to practice as lawyers.

1967 Abortion Act legalised abortion in Great Britain.
