I was on my way to having a better day last night when I realized that I couldn't lay hands on my MSFB tickets. That I don't even remember if they arrived. Nguh. Well, at least I realized this a week in advance, when there was time to figure out what to do. Have tracked down proof of payment in paypal and emailed for advice. Still can read email (but not respond).

Off to Home Depot over lunch - I need a new hose (ran over the last one and squished the connector at the end), grilling tools, and a timer for the porch light, which I keep forgetting to turn on now that we took the motion sensor off.

Have paid bills, which is one relief, and the big bright spot yesterday was the arrival of my copy of the soundtrack for Bombay Dreams. Am currently in the process of sanding the tracks for "Like An Eagle" and "Love's Never Easy" off the CD through constant repetition.

Tomorrow's going to be busy, but hopefully better - have an SG-1 game and then am off to join a Desi club going to see Paheli. This will be my first face-to-face contact with Bollywood fandom. I want to be excited about this, but in my current mood am wondering what disaster will befall.

Current book: Prisoner of Azkaban
Current music: Love's never easy/soon it will start/at least that's what I tell my heart...

By now most of the people on my f-list have heard about the little boy who got in trouble for pledging allegiance to the United Federation of Planets instead of the American flag. His mother has started a Cafe Press store with the full pledge on it.

If I order one now, will it show up in time for Shore Leave, I wonder?

Someday I shall make an "Earworms that Aren't in English" CD to exercise to. I adore "Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride" and "He Mele No Lilo" from Lilo and Stitch, and now "Chaiyya Chaiyya" from Bombay Dreams has me hypnotized.

My chances of keeping all the Bollywood movies I've seen straight in my head without a list somewhere is going to be impossible, so I'm starting a new memories/tag section for Bollywood movie reviews.

First up, It Happened One Night I mean, Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin )

Next up: Cyrano du Bergerac I mean, Mujhse Dosti Karoge.
