A fic rec stolen from bentleywg: The dalek invasion of Discworld No Who spoilers, but you should be up on your Discworld canon through about Feet of Clay.

There is a turtle swimming through space, with four giant elephants and a flat disc of a world balanced carefully atop its meteor-pocked shell. That’s no less believable than a police box traveling through time and space.


Also, I've got two reviews up on this week's Reviewing the Evidence: Mark of the Pasha and Undead and Unworthy. The latter was the subject of a dear author post.

Sorry for the spam, folks, it's just that there's another interesting topic that I don't want to languish in the comment threads. This one's the discussion about how Davies views companions and how Moffat seems to view them. ( Once again, Journey's End spoilers )

Moffat's going to bring his own issues to the table. But at least one of them is not going to be an issue that bugs me so badly about Davies.
