(no subject)

Down and safe with absolutely *no* road stories to tell, thank goodness! Next up, Night at the Museum with M, laundry, and lots of lying on the couch drooling gently. Oh, and a new Staggering Stories.

Having St. Stories on the road was really nice; listening to them is just like listening to people be silly in a convention hallway, so it was like having a little slice of MediaWest with me on the road.

ETA II: And I achieved two personal goals - no use of credit cards and bringing in the total for the trip at under half of last year!

I have to say, I'm glad M got me to go along with her to see Night at the Museum II, Battle at the Smithsonian. It's totally silly, occasionally stupid, and lots and lots of fun. I loved the ( cut for mild spoilers )

There are a lot of laughs and a little hometown squee, but those three bits are worth the price of admission right there. Oh, and stay for the credits. They tie up a major loose end in a delightful way in the credits.

I suppose I'm going to end up seeing Trek in the theater too. I'm about the only geek who hasn't yet!

And now... laundry, catching up, and getting back to real life.
