Request: Sandwich Ideas

Y'all were so helpful when I asked for chicken recipes and pasta recipes that I'm back picking your collective brains again.

I need sandwich ideas. There's only so often I can eat turkey and mayo or ham, devilled or otherwise. I need packable sandwich ideas, the kind of thing that will go nicely with a cup of soup or a salad. (Ideas of a good soup to pair the sandwich with appreciated, although I really only eat three of them - Italian wedding soup, tomato, and butternut squash.)

Nothing peanut butter-based, please. I eat peanut butter for breakfast.

I love pimiento cheese, but not everyone agrees with me. However, if you do like it, it's worth checking at the grocery store to see if they have a packaged brand that's any good. My current favorite is the one off the deli counter at Central Market. Add lettuce or a little sliced onion if you want more flavors in the mix.
