Two Help Haiti questions

Y'all with
help_haiti auctions already running - what's more popular, goods (winner will be sent a physical whatever) or services (winner gets fic, icon, editing, etc.)?
And in the same vein, what do you think would bring more $$ - a one-off auction of a thing which would only have one winner, or "anyone who donates $5 gets a private message with a recipe/knitting pattern"?

Date: 2010-01-15 04:32 pm (UTC)a service is easier, doesnt cost shipping, and you can sell more of them (usually)
obviously if you sell. say... icons.. you can make a LOT of icons for donations of 1-5 bucks...... but how many items do you have and who wants them? and then postage..
