Apparently the vote this year is more important than I thought. But the right vote - since if we vote for Kerry, not only will the terrorist attack again, but we'll go to hell. Not the country, not metaphorically, but each one of us with our itchy atheistic fingers on the lever.

An absolutely must-read LJ commentary from [livejournal.com profile] naamah99 titled "Bloody Hell!" It's long, it's hilarious, and this is just a tiny sample: I think they should include a surprise in each package, like a secret decoder ring, and print cryptic messages on the backs of the pull-strips that you can decode while you sit there on the toilet at 5 in the morning with cramps and nothing to read. And if you save UPC symbols and mail in your $3.95 shipping, they'll send you something cool. Like, 20 UPCs would get you a book of erotica.

In the meantime, for those who don't hit chain restaurants, TGI Friday's has inadvertently come up with the ultimate PMS meal: steak with blue cheese on it, broccoli on the side, and a chocolate shake. They always look at me funny when I add the shake to the atkins-diet entree, but I'm tellin' ya - better than midol!

I've just found out that my father is in the hospital and we won't know why until Monday. Horrifically, the "good" answer would be diabetes. My parents are very religious, so I'm asking for anyone and everyone to light a candle, spin a prayer wheel, or whatever is necessary.

His name is Graydon. Thank you.
